I Belong to a Witch — Episode 3: Unlace Me

Episode 3 opens with Darius nearly dying on Halloween once more, and Morgana dragging him back. The dark-haired witch is Liv, and she has come to collect: he was meant to die three decades ago, she says, and Death always returns. Morgana stands between them in black lace and stockings, purple fire burning in her palm. Then a cruel twist: Duke was never really his dog. Liv has kept him alive all along to keep watch.

Morgana puts Duke to sleep until midnight and explains the rule. Liv can only take her while she is feeding on him. So once a year, every Halloween, she will return for Darius, and they will both enjoy it. He has been alone far too long to refuse. Then a vision pulls back the curtain on the night it all began: a coven around a cauldron, and Morgana turning their fire against them to save him.
