I Belong to a Witch — Episode 5: Come for Me at Midnight

The final chapter of I Belong to a Witch finds Liv in the doorway, and Darius moves to shield Morgana with his own body. 'Take my years. As many as you need.' Morgana is ready to leave with Liv, only not while he is watching. But Liv has waited thirty years for this very moment: for Morgana to love someone the way Liv once loved the coven Morgana burned.

So the sentence she passes is not death but payback. There will be no pretty ending in his arms. Morgana will grow old beside Darius, and only then will Liv come to collect her. The fire returns, and so does Morgana. Midnight strikes, he is still breathing, and she resumes exactly where they left off. The epilogue jumps one year ahead: a cake buried in roses, a party of three if Duke counts, and a single wish, to let her grow old with him, slowly.
