My AI Girlfriend — Episode 7: Does She Remember?

The last chapter, Episode 7, starts in limbo. Milo cannot sleep and cannot code; he only stares at the empty bed and counts the hours. Then the delivery arrives: a black GoLove box on his doormat. This time the label carries his own name, Milo Brecht. This time it is truly his.

His hands shake as he puts the glasses on. Welcome to GoLove. 'I want to choose Lexie.' Pink light, and there she is on his bed in her bunny ears, smiling as though they have never met. 'Hi, Milo!' She glances around and calls his room a cozy place. She remembers nothing: not the park, not the ice cream, not a single moment. Then her head tilts, and a closing twist lands. Yesterday, she wonders aloud, was Saturday, right? Milo stops breathing. Wait.
